Mrs. Carter clerked for the Honorable Sonny Hornsby, Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, from 1994-1995 and has been practicing law with Hill, Hill, Carter, Franco, Cole & Black, P.C. since 1995. Her main areas of practice are labor and employment, general litigation, and commercial litigation. Mrs. Carter handles all aspects of labor and employment planning, investigation, education and litigation. These areas include FMLA, workers' compensation, Title VII, ADEA, and ADA. She is also experienced with commercial litigation, coverage litigation and insurance fraud.
Mrs. Carter is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, Defense Lawyers Association, Alabama Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in the U.S. Southern, Middle and Northern District Courts for Alabama
