Mr. Black has been with the firm for more than eleven years. His main areas of practice are general litigation, insurance practice, and municipal liability and transportation law. In the area of personal injury defense, he has defended numerous cases involving accident and personal injury cases and related insurance issues. He has represented municipalities, corporations and other employers in the workers' compensation area. He has also conducted seminars on workers' compensation law and municipal legal matters, and teaches bankruptcy law and family law as an adjunct professor at Huntington College. Mr. Black is admitted in all Federal District Courts in the State of Alabama. He is also a member of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute (D.R.I.).
