Hill Hill Carter Shareholder Dianne Gamble Named President of The Alabama Council of School Board Attorneys

Dianne Gamble was recently named President of The Alabama Council of School Board Attorneys for the 2018/2019 membership year. Ms. Gamble was chosen by her peers at the recent ACBSA Summer Conference held June 16 and 17 at The Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach, AL.

Ms. Gamble has practiced education law for 16 years and is a shareholder in the Birmingham office of Hill Hill Carter. Ms. Gamble has provided legal counsel to school boards, educators, peace officers and local governments for more than a decade and serves as general counsel and special counsel to several Alabama boards of education. Licensed in Alabama and Mississippi, Ms. Gamble has extensive trial and appellate experience and focuses her practice in labor and employment, student matters, policy development, civil rights and tort matters. Ms. Gamble graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and received her J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.

ACSBA is an affiliate of the Alabama Association of School Boards. Members meet annually to discuss current education and legal issues and to share their knowledge of laws, court rulings and national developments that impact local school boards.  ACSBA membership automatically qualifies attorneys for membership in the National Council of School Attorneys, an affiliate of the National School Boards Association.
