Hill Hill Carter is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Louisville, Kentucky and the addition of Mark M. Sandmann and Robert L. Keisler, Jr. to the firm. The Louisville office will be part of the firm’s Health Care Cost Recovery section.
“Hill Hill Carter has long represented health benefit plans throughout the country, and opening an office in a health care center like Louisville made a lot of sense,” remarked David Henderson, the Managing Shareholder of Hill Hill Carter. “Mark and Bob bring years of experience to the HHC team, and Louisville provides us with a pool of top-notch staff well-versed in health care issues.”
Mr. Sandmann will be heading the Kentucky office, focusing in the areas of pharmaceutical fraud and antitrust. Mark will also represent the interests of local, regional and national health insurers in mass tort litigation throughout the country. Mark earned his B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Missouri and received his J.D. from the Syracuse University College of Law.
Mr. Keisler will join Hill Hill Carter’s Kentucky office with an emphasis in subrogation and reimbursement, particularly in mass tort litigation. Bob has extensive experience dealing with all types of healthcare subrogation and recovery matters. Bob earned his B.A. from the University of Louisville and received his J.D. from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.
“Bob and I have worked collaboratively for years with Pam Slate, Liz Carter, and their health care cost recovery group here at Hill Hill Carter, and are excited to be merging our practice with theirs officially now,” commented Mark Sandmann.
