Hill Hill Carter attorneys David Henderson, Craig Allred, Andrew Blake and Jordan Jenkins participated in a mock trial for the Alabama Trucking Association’s Safety & Maintenance Management Counsel (“SMMC”). In doing so, they presented a civil trial in a trucking accident case from start to finish. The almost 80 participants broke up into 8 different jury panels to decide the case at the end. The trial team was assisted by paralegal Donna DeShields.
The presentation provided key strategies for effectively presenting their side of the story and building a strong defense. This knowledge is crucial for any fleet manager, as they are responsible for maintaining safety of their fleet and protecting their company’s reputation and financial stability.
SMMC empowers trucking professionals with the essential tools and knowledge to shield their businesses from legal threats and safeguard their fleets against litigation risks from accidents and employment disputes.
We thank the Alabama Trucking Association for allowing us to participate in this meaningful event.
