It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our esteemed colleague, partner, and friend, Attorney Pamela B. Shaddrix. Pam passed away peacefully following a courageous battle with cancer.
A pillar of our firm for many years, Pam served on our management committee and was widely respected throughout the legal community. Her remarkable legal acumen, steadfast commitment to her clients, and dedication to mentoring others left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of working with her.
Pam held degrees from Birmingham-Southern College, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Cumberland School of Law. With over 30 years of litigation experience, Pam was a recognized authority in complex and class action litigation. She served as lead counsel in numerous national cases and earned the respect of peers, clients, and the bench for her expertise, particularly in antitrust and RICO litigation within the healthcare industry. In addition to representing both plaintiffs and defendants, she was frequently sought out by other attorneys for her insight and guidance as a consultant.
Pam was also our extraordinary friend. A brilliant musician with a soulful voice, she was wickedly funny, fiercely loyal, and generous to a fault. There are too many accomplishments and adventures to recount. Pam’s legacy of professionalism, leadership, and faithful friendship will be forever cherished by her HHC family.
Visitation will be held on October 2, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cullman, AL. A funeral service will follow on October 3, at 10:00 a.m., also at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
